He is experienced in jewellery acquisition, general electrical and fishing gear.
Overseeing the general running of the company, he strives to maintain and drive the company ever forward.
He says customer satisfaction and accommodation, product quality and diversity, coupled with a good trading environment is paramount to longevity.
Steve
Director and Co-founder
Steve has been in the industry all his working life and has adapted to accommodate the ever-changing landscape over the 30 years.
He lends his experience to such aspects as electrical, bicycles and petrol tools.
Versatility has been his forte and his skills in buying and selling have been key to the success of the business.
He is chief trade buyer and sales co-ordinator.
Steve is known by name to many of our retail customers after aiding them over the years.
Helping buyers with everything from televisions to kitchen appliances.
Dave
Deputy Manager
A genuine all-rounder with versatility and a can-do-attitude, if Dave can help, he will.
A man that is rightfully confident in his own abilities, skilled at relating to others on the many levels the job entails.
Prior to joining us over 10 years ago, Dave had a diverse working-life in technology, retail, and the service industry bringing with him a wealth of ability and understanding.
Dave is responsible for Jewellery, Laptops/Computers and Mobile Phones, he prides himself on being tech savvy and up-to-date with current technology.
He always prefers to strike a deal beneficial to our customers as well as us, either on straight sale or buy-back terms.
Reuben
Buyer and Servicer
A member of the team for over six years.
Reuben is an avid guitarist, photographer, and gamer.
He has an extensive private collection of each.
Reuben’s areas of expertise are therefore guitars, cameras, vintage consoles/games, and general technology.
He has a home gym and is therefore familiar with fitness and leisure products coming our way and has also dabbled as a DJ so knows what to look for when checking out sound equipment.
He enjoys testing consoles and readying the musical instruments for store sale, sharing his knowledge and insight with customers and staff alike.
Both Reuben and Dave take time in explaining and helping clients through the buy-back facility we offer in store.
Alf
Director and Co-founder
This enduring Patriarch has recently retired from the workings of daily trading but remains available to impart valued guidance, support and insight from the vast experience garnered and engrained over many decades of his career.
Beginning with motor assembly before graduating to become a qualified electrical and television engineer, he moved rapidly to become a longstanding business owner trading for over 55 years.
Alf continues to help and inspire all under his auspices.
